Itinerary
Day 1: Srinagar to Dachigam, golden-hour walk
- 14:30 hrs arrive at Lower Dachigam gate, complete check-in formalities, transfer to the Forest Rest House.
- Tea and briefing on house rules, wildlife etiquette, and dusk cut-offs.
- Late-afternoon guided loop along designated trails, scanning for Hangul and birdlife.
- Return before sunset as per park regulations. Simple homestyle dinner at the Rest House. Lights are limited, electricity may be intermittent.
Dawn patrol, Streamside brunch, check-out
- Pre-dawn wake-up and hot beverages. Guided morning walk focusing on fresh sign and likely crossings.
- Streamside field breakfast or brunch back at the Rest House, depending on weather and wildlife activity.
- Optional short visit to the Interpretation Centre when open, then check-out and depart by late morning.
